Yemen is facing the largest humanitarian crisis on the planet and in the world with all sorts of problems. Yemen went from being the heart of ancient Arabia to one of the poorest countries of the middle east from the last five years it is facing war.

 Millions of Yemenis are desperately struggling to survive.

In the last five years hospitals, schools are bombed killing thousands of Yemeni civilization which brings an immense humanitarian crisis.

Today in Yemen only meal is a plate of plain rice between a family. Diseases like cholera and many more are spreading fast. The total population of Yemen is 29 million in 29 million, 24 million depends on humanitarian help.

Yemen crisis began with civil war. The civil war started at the time of the Arab spring.

Now there is a proxy war going in Yemen between Saudia and Iran other countries in the Saudi coalition, like the UK, US, France, etc.

Civil war begins from internal conflict

 Between Mohsen Ali Ahmar (chief of army) and Ali Abdullah Saleh ( president of Yemen ).

President Saleh wants his son to be army chief this is not supported by the current army chief Ahmar.

The military of Yemen is divided into two parts, supporters of Saleh and supporters of Ahmar. 

This started when Arab spring is on its peak protests are going to change president Saleh and army chief Ahmar also start supporting protesters. Saleh and Ahmar both started mobilizing there forces they are increasing there power and spreading hate in public against each other half of the military is with Saleh and a half with Ahmar.

He is the leader of the rebel group this group is of Shia Muslims. Who was against the Sunni government of Yemen & ( president Saleh).

 Houthi rebels take advantage of the weak military and internal conflict between president and army chief and start occupying the Shia region of Yemen with the help of Iran. Iran is a Shia Muslim country Iran supported Houthi rebels by providing weapons. Houthi want the Shia government in Yemen. Houthis get the support of the Shia population of Yemen and become powerful.

   The entry of Saudi Arab

 When President Saleh saw Houthis becoming powerful then he takes the support of Saudi Arab, Saudi enter in this war because Iran is supporting Houthis and Iran is Siya and Saudi is Sunni Muslim country.

Saudi started bombing in the Houthi occupied region of Yemen.

when president Saleh gets the support of Saudi then army chief Ahmar starts supporting Houthi rebels.

     Mosque attack

President Saleh was praying in the mosque Houthis attacked Saleh. Saleh is 40% injured and burned in the attack. November 2011 Saleh resigned for stabilization of Yemen.

Now a new government is formed and the army chief is also changed.

     The entry of  Al - Qaeda

Al - Qaeda terrorist group also takes advantage of Yemen's internal war and starts occupying the areas of south Yemen. 

  President Hadi wants to stabilize Yemen and stop the civil war but this is difficult because Houthis become more powerful and occupied a large area of north Yemen near the capital Sanaa. 40% Shia population and tribal groups were supporting Houthis and AL-Qaeda occupied a large area of south Yemen.

In 2014 Houthis occupied the capital of Yemen Sanaa. And AL- Qaeda is also spreading fast. Yemen is in its tough time north areas are occupied by Houthis and a large south part is occupied by AL- Qaeda.

Finally, the government signed the peace deal with Houthis that Houthis get big participation in government decision making. This is a big embarrassment of the government of Yemen to sign a peace deal with the Anti-national group. This deal is signed because there is no choice for the government both sides there are big terrorist groups.

Houthi reject the constitution and also a new federal structure and demanding the candidate of there group elected as PM and they kidnapped the army chief of Yemen (Mubarak).

When things were not under control president Haddi resigned and Houthis kept him in house arrest and Haddi takes the help of Saudi Arab again.

Here big operation stars in Yemen operation decisive storm is started in 2015 against Houthis.

Saudi started attacking Houthi occupied regions in Yemen.

This leads to destroying life in Yemen innocent peoples were killed buildings were destroyed in attacks people become homeless.  the proxy war going in Yemen, Iran vs Saudi Arab,  10 countries were supporting Saudi ( US, UK, Egypt, Sudan, France, Jordan), etc. 

Saudi started bombing on Yemen's Houthi occupied land this causes mass casualties destruction lack of water, food, Yemen lead to starvation every building hospitals and schools were damaged by bombs.

Four lakh children suffering from malnutrition close to 10 k people died from preventable diseases 30 lakh people turned as refuges.
