 First economy, then protests, and now this explosion.

Lebanon comes to a worse time when Lebanon's economy defaulted on $90 Billion in debt in march currency has lost 80% of its value since 2019, Food costs up to 90%, Unemployment, and poverty due to the situation of this pandemic COVID-19.

People have been demonstrating from months saying they are tired of corruption and never-ending economic crisis.
It is suspected that the direct trigger to the protests where due to the planned taxes. The government announced a tax on gasoline, tobacco, and phone called such as through apps like WhatsUp.

The government planned to implement a $6 monthly tax on WhatsApp users' phone calls. 

There is a failure in public services. electricity supply problems, massive pollution and not having proper break down of garbage disposal. The cost of living is growing higher. Tight salary and unemployment rates rise, Lebanon has suffered from years.

This current protest is so far from sectarian undertones. All the religions of Lebanon stand together for the economy and a better lifestyle.


  HOW TOUGH EVERYDAY LIFE FOR LEBANON'S


There is no clear accessible drinking water. No proper electricity supply. not proper disposal of garbage all over the country. People can't access proper public services. This mess is caused by serious miss management.

Beirut explosion could worse Lebanon's economic crisis. Many called this a man-made disaster this is now the latest crisis to hit a country already on its knees so much have been lost when it is already so little.
A large explosion in Lebanon capital Beirut killed at least 100 people and injured thousands this was a massive explosion shock wave across the countries.

 The government says 300,000 peoples have been homeless in the capital. The blast happened on Tuesday evening at the port in a warehouse where ammonium nitrate had been stored for years. At least 4,000 peoples injured.

Anger in people rises after Beirut blast residents are digging out of devastation, looking for survival.

Almost every building in Beirut is damaged 1000 are missing countries already dealing with a bad economic crisis. where 50% of people leave below the poverty line.
